Local Outreach

Lifebridge   "Lifebridge" is an outreach ministry of the Open Door United Church of Christ. It is located at 56 Margin Street in Salem, MA. The center provides meals and living accommodations for the homeless, as well as training programs for job placement and basic health counseling.     Our church provides the evening meal on the third Friday of each month. Preparation and serving of the food occurs from 5:00-7:00pm. We buy all of the food for this meal and prepare it at the center. The meal is simple, yet tasty, and one that is always appreciated. It regularly includes Encore Salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, rolls, dessert and drink. It is a great blessing to serve the needy in our area. Click Here for more info A Woman's Concern This is a wonderful organization on the North Shore that offers free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, and helps women (and the men involved) come to terms with their unplanned pregnancy.
